We are seeking a highly reliable detail-oriented and organized Research Technician to join our microbiology laboratory team effective April 1 2026. As a Research Technician you will be mainly responsible for supporting the research and development activities in our lab. You will apply your in-depth knowledge of methods in various scientific projects.

Your skillset:

A completed apprenticeship as an MBO/HBO/BTA/CTA/MTA or a completed . degree in a comparable field
Molecular biology: Performing PCRs and cloning
Microbiology: Cultivation of different microorganisms for expression application of aseptic techniques
Protein production: Expression analysis protein purification
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and guidelines including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials decontamination procedures and maintenance of clean work areas
Nice to have: Experience with fermentation HPLC and/or FPLC

Your mindset:

Pleasure in clean and precise work
Reliability and the desire to take responsibility for your own work
Utilization of electronic lab notebook software to record all your experiments
Openness to software such as Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and laboratory programmes for laboratory equipment as well as electronic laboratory books
The goal of working in a start-up company for the long term
