Introduction

Enjoy working with advanced vacuum magnetic thin-film systems Want to help develop new methods for next-generation magnet-based electronics Join us as Research Laboratory Technician and grow your skills in a dynamic high-tech academic environment.

The research group Physics of Nanostructures (FNA) works on cutting-edge research with magnetic thin-film systems that are structured on the nanometer scale. We study the basic properties of these materials for future applications in micro-electronics sensing photonics and healthcare.

Our group specializes in a new type of electronics that uses magnetic effects called spintronics. For this work we operate a world-class facility with several connected ultra-high-vacuum (UHV) systems used to deposit and analyze extremely thin films. We also use different setups for magnetic optical and electrical measurements some of which involve cryogenic (very low-temperature) techniques.

Training students and young researchers in this high-tech environment is one of our main priorities.

Job Description
