About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1) you will provide comprehensive nursing services while developing from novice to proficient practice through ongoing learning and experience. Youll be accountable for your own professional standards of care and the delegation of tasks to others.
As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) youll bring consolidated experience and/or further study to deliver proficient evidence-based addition to providing direct clinical services you will guide and mentor less experienced staff accept accountability for delegated activities and may hold portfolio responsibilities aligned to your career development plan.
In both roles youll work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team contribute to continuous improvement and ensure person-centred professional nursing care.
What Were Looking For:
RN/M1
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia andwho holds or who is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriatestandards of practice.
RN/M2C
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds or who is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years full time equivalent post registration experience.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
