Physiotherapist Grade 1 or 2 Leave Reliever

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist to join our highly valued Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong! This permanent full time leave reliever position will provide clinical cover for physiotherapy leave within both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and on acute wards. We are open to part-time arrangements for the ideal candidate.

At Epworth Geelong our physiotherapists work within a multidisciplinary team and provide care to patients in the Emergency Department ICU acute wards inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services. Patient profiles include but are not limited to orthopaedics neurology cardiorespiratory general medical surgical oncology pelvic health and pain management.

The successful applicant will be well supported will enjoy variety and have the opportunity to contribute to clinical care across the continuum. You will be flexible in your approach be willing to learn and identify knowledge gaps and present with a breadth of clinical experience.  The role will suit someone with a positive solution focused demeanour who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a strength in the development of effective working relationships.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• At minimum of 3 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting
• Physiotherapy skills confidence and experience in both acute and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Proven ability to manage a busy clinical load
• Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail in all aspects of your work
• The ability to contribute to quality improvement activities alongside your clinical work
