Job Description
Hybrid: Reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed / collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren GM Global Technical Center three times per week at minimum.

The HID Component Senior Design Manager will lead a team of dedicated branded component managers and corresponding teams working to set the aesthetic direction for world-class quality execution of innovative interior production components and concepts. This role will integrate customer experience focused needs and brand differentiation opportunities into all customer interaction touchpoints on product interiors. Directs administers and coordinates the overall interior component integration work within the production design studio environment. This work is of a highly technical nature. A high level of independent design judgment attention to detail and execution know how is a must. Creativity and self-initiation are required to make decisions regarding design modeling and engineering proposals. This position will be responsible for managing a team of program embedded design managers that will work toward a single goal of branded component excellence through the vehicle design process. This position needs to be highly collaborative; working with production interior teams and engineering partners to create beautiful and meaningful customer experiences for our production programs.
