Job Description:

Reporting to the CARS (Cognitive Agentic and Robotic Services) Director the Azure Architect will lead operations and architecture for Next Generation Technologies and Intelligent Automation Hub solutions. The role will help design operate measure enhance and scale solutions for these key enablers of Mars digital strategy driving significant benefits in terms of growth efficiency quality risk and service levels. The position will help to support and improve one of Mars critical service offerings RapidRead a ground-breaking AI that reads and analyses pet x-rays within seconds.

As part of this role the CARS Senior Lead will also lead the publication of cognitive agentic and robotic technology controls standards and will evaluate and advise on any new projects or releases proposed involving deployments scalable operations traceability and ongoing improvement.

- Linux and Windows Server
- Cloud preferably Azure (specifically PAAS and AKS as well as general Azure ML Ops).
- Scripting preferably Python.
- SQL
- Large enterprise and ITSM
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong drive for results and innovation
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and partners possessing varied levels of technical proficiency
- Quick learner

What will be your key responsibilities

Engage with Strategic Partners to optimise the ongoing support and deployment model for Next Generation Technologies Automation and Process Intelligence solutions.
Innovate and design new architectural patterns and improvements to provide benefits for existing and future solutions within this space (Next Generation Technologies Automation and Process Intelligence).
Leadership role within Digital Operations and Architecture.
Collaborate with Next Generation Technologies Automation and Process Intelligence resources to help lead operations take-on for coming solutions including coordination of operationalising solutions to support scalability and reliability requirements.
Configure deploy and retire both infrastructure and user accounts as part of the solution lifecycle.
Manage capacity and plan accordingly to meet demand ensuring efficiency without bottlenecks.
Create documentation and knowledge articles to help mature processes and ensure transition and succession capabilities.
Assist with Service Management - building and progressing reporting monitoring and alerting within solutions.
Collaborate within the team and externally to ensure compliance with audit and process governance for all deployments and changes.
