Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Cleaner to oversee and perform cleaning operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning protocols meet strict industry standards for hygiene safety and compliance while also supervising a team of cleaners to maintain a sterile and organized facility.

Pay: $ 22.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantsexperience skills abilities geographic locationand alignment with market data.

Shift: Sunday 6am-2:30pm Tuesday-Friday 8pm-4:30am

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Leadership

Lead and coordinate daily cleaning activities of the janitorial team.
Train new staff on cleaning procedures safety protocols and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.

Cleaning & Sanitation

Perform and oversee cleaning of cleanrooms laboratories production areas and common spaces.
Ensure proper use of cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
Maintain logs and documentation for cleaning schedules and compliance audits.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure all cleaning activities comply with FDA OSHA and GMP regulations.
Conduct regular inspections and report any deviations or maintenance needs.
Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.

Inventory & Supplies

Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and PPE.
Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or pharmaceutical cleaning.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of GMP SOPs and regulatory compliance standards.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods.
Comfortable working in controlled environments with PPE.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
