JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the monthly close process preparing journal entries ensuring compliance with GAAP and assisting with internal and external audits. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills a deep understanding of corporate accounting principles and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the monthly close process preparing journal entries ensuring compliance with GAAP and assisting with internal and external audits. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills a deep understanding of corporate accounting principles and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and support schedules as part of the monthly quarterly and annual close process.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations between entities.
- Participate in variance analysis and provide explanations to management.
- Coordinate and support external audits including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain and improve documentation of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
- Mentor or provide guidance to junior accountants as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- 35 years of progressive accounting experience preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
