Position Description:
Job Title: Lead Analyst
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Shift: 11 AM to 8 PM
Main location: India Telangana Hyderabad

Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is looking for experienced ETL Data Tester with a strong background in Hadoop Teradata/Informatica and solid SQL/HQL expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating complex data pipelines ensuring data integrity and supporting automation in the testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end ETL data validation data integrity and data quality checks across Hadoop and Teradata/Informatica environments.
Develop and execute SQL/HQL queries to verify data transformations and data flow across systems.
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand business requirements and map them into test cases.
Prepare detailed test plans test cases and defect reports.
Work on Python-based test automation scripts for ETL validation (preferred).
Identify analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues in ETL processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide regular testing updates to stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL Data Testing.
Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Teradata/Informatica.
Strong SQL/HQL query writing and debugging skills.
Knowledge of Python for automation or scripting.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows.
Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
