About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ETL Tester with 2 3 years of experience in data validation ETL workflow testing and quality assurance across data integration environments. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills hands-on experience with ETL tools and the ability to ensure data accuracy consistency and reliability across complex data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end-to-end testing of ETL processes including data extraction transformation and loading.
Develop execute and maintain test cases test scenarios and test scripts to validate data integrity.
Conduct functional regression system and performance testing of ETL workflows.
Validate data mappings transformations and target table outputs.
Analyze source-to-target data flows and identify defects in ETL logic or data processing.
Write and run complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Log defects track them to closure and collaborate closely with developers and data engineers.
Work with business analysts to understand data requirements and test accordingly.
Prepare and maintain test documentation including test results metrics and reports.
Support UAT verify fixes and ensure high-quality data delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2 3 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing/data warehouse testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL (ability to write complex joins aggregations and validation queries).
Strong Experience in SQL
Strong experience in data warehousing star/snowflake schema and data modelling
Understanding of source-to-target mapping and data transformation logic.
Experience with issue tracking tools (JIRA Azure DevOps etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with big data ecosystems (Hive Spark Hadoop).
Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift Azure Synapse or GCP BigQuery.
Knowledge of automation testing for ETL (Python PySpark etc.).
Experience in API testing and integration testing.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
