Overview
TheInventory Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of associates to achieve a variety of goals including productivity quality problem resolution outstanding customer service employee relations (motivation and development) and maintaining a safe work environment. The Inventory Supervisor works closely with upper management to ensure operational excellence and overall facility success.
What you will do:
Lead coach and develop a team of hourly warehouse associates through training mentoring performance feedback and annual reviews in a fast-paced environment
Oversee daily inventory operations including cycle counts audits stock replenishment and reconciliation processes to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize shrinkage
Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (inventory accuracy order fill rates productivity standards cost control) to ensure exceptional customer service and support client supply chain needs
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures using WMS and other systems; analyze data to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions; coordinate with receiving shipping and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth material flow
Promote LEAN principles and collaborate with management to develop strategies for inventory optimization process improvement and cost reduction
Maintain a clean professional and safe work environment in compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements; meet or exceed corporate safety goals
Our ideal candidate will have
2 years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate communicate and motivate others to accomplish goals
Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills agility and ability to be cross trained to do more where needed
High school diploma/GED required
Its not required but it would be even better if you have
Bachelors Degree
Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
Supply chain/logistics experience
Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office internet web-based and job-specific software applications
