Job Summary

The ideal candidate has deep experience managing multi-site development projects within the hospitality retail with the ability to drive timelines manage budgets and ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Land Acquisition & Feasibility

Identify evaluate and negotiate potential sites for restaurant expansion and development.

Conduct feasibility studies including zoning environmental and infrastructure assessments.

Collaborate with real estate brokers surveyors and engineers to analyze property potential.

Project Management

Oversee project lifecycle from initial site selection to restaurant opening.

Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and risk management plans.

Manage consultants contractors and design professionals to ensure quality and timely completion.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders including finance construction operations and legal teams.

Permitting & Entitlement

Lead entitlement and permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Review and approve construction and development documents to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.

Liaise with government agencies community representatives and environmental authorities.

Budget & Cost Control

Prepare cost estimates forecasts and capital expenditure reports.

Monitor project budgets negotiate vendor contracts and manage change orders.

Ensure adherence to financial targets and timely project delivery.

Team Collaboration & Reporting

Provide regular updates to executive leadership on project progress and key milestones.

Mentor junior project managers or coordinators fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

Ensure accurate documentation reporting and project close-out deliverables.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Real Estate Development Architecture or a related field (Masters preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in land development project management or commercial construction preferably in restaurant hospitality or retail sectors.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in MS Project AutoCAD Bluebeam and project management software.

Deep understanding of zoning permitting and land entitlement processes.

Familiarity with environmental assessments and due diligence requirements.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication negotiation and leadership abilities.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strategic thinker with a results-driven and detail-oriented approach.

Requirements

Must reside within the United States.

Must possess U.S. citizenship or valid U.S. work authorization (Green Card EAD etc.).

Ability to travel domestically (up to 25%) for site visits inspections or project meetings.

Reliable home office setup with high-speed internet and communication tools.
