Job Summary
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experiencedTrade Finance Operations Officerto support end-to-end processing of trade finance transactions in line with regulatory standards bank policies and international trade practices. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of trade finance instruments banking systems and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all trade finance transactions are processed within agreed turnaround times (TATs).
- Maintain and update trade finance records in the core banking and trade finance systems.
- SWIFT messages knowledge for trade transactions (MT700 MT707 MT760 MT103 etc.).
- Interact with correspondent banks customers and service providers regarding document discrepancies payments and amendments.
- Prepare periodic reports on trade transactions outstanding items and operational metrics.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Operations or a related field
4 years of experience in logistics or export companies can be an added advantage
Experience with data entry document handling purchase order and invoice processing
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
