Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager at Mars you will partner to drive development & implementation of sub-category buying strategies and co-pilot optimization of resources. This role manages both regional and global initiatives by leveraging supplier relationships while also driving standardization and automation. Ownership of sub-category spend on a global basis will be key as will heavy x-functional collaboration and close partnership with key stakeholders.

What are we looking for

Ideally you will have around 5 years commercial or purchasing experience preferably in the areas of services both direct and indirect buying.
We want someone who shares our passion for driving value for our business by leveraging various sourcing channels.
Youll also need to hold a Bachelors / masters degree.

What will be your key responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies using the Mars framework and the appropriate tools for the market category.
Actively participate as a member of the Global Category Team and establishes/maintains working relationships with the category operational buying managers in the region.
Develop and implement regional/global contracts and related Service Level Agreements including securing price volume rebates capacity and service levels.
Build sourcing category expertise to provide market and financial insights and inputs to the operating plan.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skills and total compensation package for this position will include variable pay medical and dental benefits participation in 401k plan and paid time off of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
