The role of Human Resource Officer provides an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised enthusiastic and eager to develop their HR experience. Youll be involved in a wide range of tasks including preparing HR documents maintaining records recruitment and onboarding coordinating compliance checks and supporting various HR initiatives. If you have a keen eye for detail learn quickly and bring a can-do attitude youll enjoy the chance to grow your HR career in a positive and collaborative workplace.
This position is based in Darwin but will require travel to Wadeye as required.
About You:
- Cert IV in Human Resources and/or relevant experience in HR and administration desirable
- Knowledge of awards Enterprise Agreements & Fairwork legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office apps including word excel TEAMS & SharePoint
- Experience with Employment Hero HR & Payroll desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and records
- High level customer service skills with a focus on providing high quality HR support to Managers and staff
- Strong organisational skills and action oriented
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Experience and understanding of working respectfully with culturally and linguistically diverse clients in remote Indigenous communities.
Essential Licences / Clearances
- National Police check
- Current NT Ochre Card (working with children check) (or willingness to obtain)
- NLC Work permit (with assistance)
