Software Development Engineer II, ADSP Product Analytics

Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing and developing software products that will provide users across all of Amazons advertising an ability to troubleshoot ADSP campaigns directly impacting Advertisers experience using ADSP platform. You will be able to demonstrate a variety of architectural approaches and design patterns and have a demonstrated competence in designing maintainable and scalable software written in a high-level language. You will show your ability to adapt to changing technical environments and devise creative solutions to vexing software problems. You will encounter some of the toughest and most inspiring technical challenges of your career as you build petabyte-scale services invent new big data paradigms and scale for extreme growth.

A day in the life
- You will work with Petabyte scale data and figuring out the best way to stream it compute it and store it in a cost optimized efficient way.
- You will work on building a Product that helps provides intelligent insights on why a Campaign may not be delivering its budget or performing as expected and contributing towards solving this hard and complex problem
- You will write high quality code
- You will review code
- You will work on improving Ops and contribute towards reducing no. of tickets and Time to Respond (TTR).

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
