Location: Stratford ON
Shift: 40h/week - Monday - Thursday: 21:30-06:30 (9 hours x 4 days) Friday 21:30 - 01:30 (4 hours x 1 day)
Pay-rate: $36.79 per hour
3 years of AZ License is required
The Linehaul Driver drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g. tractor-trailers 5-ton vehicles shunt trucks etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.
Responsibilities
Drive to/from customer locations
Safely operates company vehicles (e.g. tractor-trailers 5-ton vehicles shunt trucks etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts etc.)
Pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements
Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch
Pick up deliver and load/unload freight at customer locations
Scans freight upon pickup and delivery
Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip 15-minute post-trip; trailer 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)
Additional Responsibilities
Experience
Class 1 drivers license with a clean driving record
3 years of Class 1 driving experience
