Position Summary: The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with a variety of tasks including processing invoices maintaining financial records monitoring account schedules and costing and posting of vehicle deals. Were looking for a detail oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our office team and support daily financial and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post and verify dealership transactions in the accounting system
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors as needed
- Preform general administrative task and support the office team
- Assist with monthly and year end closing
- Post Car Deals into the Accounting System
- Calculate cost of goods sold to determine the actual cost of the vehicle to the dealership
- Verify all supporting Documents are complete and correct
Qualifications:
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience (required)
- Automotive dealership accounting experience (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
- Experience with accounting systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
