Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Cabin & Cargo Electronics ISE (f/m) to join our Cabin & Cargo Electronics Team based in Toulouse France.

You will join a dynamic team of engineers providing technical assistance on Cabin & Cargo systems topics for the complete in-service fleet of Airbus commercial Aircraft from the first Wide-Body aircraft to the latest A350 A330neo and A321XLR!

Our team has many responsibilities but the two main ones are to ensure timely responses to daily queries from our operators worldwide and to monitor the main events occurring in service and analyse customers feedback so as to identify and define the necessary improvements and corrective actions for the fleet. For both activities we must build a close relationship with our customers as well as to collaborate with other Airbus Customers Services departments Airbus Design offices and suppliers. As part of our team you will also represent Airbus at major conventions conferences and customer meetings like Airline Symposium technical forums or supplier conferences.

Your challenges :

• Be a key technical referent for your attributed primary perimeters (one).

• Involvement in other secondary perimeters.

• Answer customer daily queries through the Tech Request Manager tool. Following up as required through direct phone calls and discussions with the Airlines or their representatives.

• Raise OCCurrences.

• Perform Standby overnight and weekend when ready.

• Provide on-site assistance where & when necessary.

• Monitor and record in-service events identify potential recurring and / or safety issues and launch appropriate corrective action with the relevant Engineering Role Technical Leader (ERTL) Programme and Design organisation through creation of Major In service Problem (MISP) or Request For Work (RFW) and participate in these processes as required.

• Proposing authoring and reviewing Pre-Defined Solutions (PDS)

• Provide In-Service Information (ISI) and Technical Follow Up (TFU) to airlines ensuring a high level of quality and added value information.

• Ensure feedback loop of in-service experience maintenance activities and significant issues to management design organisation (FEEL) and the suppliers.

• Participate in meetings webinars and regional conferences for specific subjects in order to communicate effectively to airlines.

• Participate in meetings on Cabin & Cargo technical topics with internal and external stakeholders on the topics assigned to you.

• Review documentation for new programs and modifications/adaptations to in service programs (AMM and TSM).

• Perform SB/VSB scrutiny.

• Contribute in the Change Request process.

Your boarding pass :

• Engineer with experience in aircraft systems or structure with a preference in Cabin & Cargo systems.

• Negotiation level in English written and spoken since our activities involve communicating and presenting either to customers or to the design offices in English (both in written and verbal communications).

• Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written.

• Highly concerned by Customer Support and Customer Service minded

• Good coordination and relational skills to deal with Customers Design Offices Vendors and other Airbus departments.

• Team player adaptable flexible.

• People skills for coordination of activities outside pure technical topics.
