About the role

• Deliver hands-on support to palliative care and rehabilitation patients across community and inpatient settings

• Work closely with allied health professionals in physiotherapy OT dietetics speech pathology and social work

• Carry out delegated clinical tasks and therapy support to enhance patient care

• Manage equipment loan pools including delivery collection and stock tracking

About you

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or;

• Working towards a university degree in Occupational Therapy or;

• Internationally Reconised Occupational Therapy qualification

• Current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers licence.

• Experience working 12 months or less as an allied health assistant

• Experienced in managing an equipment loan pool including tracking maintenance and logistics

• Confident working within a multidisciplinary team and delivering delegated clinical tasks under supervision

• Solid understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and how to apply safe work practices in daily tasks

• Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and clinical systems used in health settings
