United Sports is looking for responsible and energetic individuals to join our After School Care team!

Hours are available Monday - Friday between 3:30pm and 6:30pm with occasional other hours available for no school days and field trips.

Applicants do not need to be able to work everyday to apply.

Responsibilities:
--Guide elementary age students through their afternoon and create a safe caring and fun environment.
--Assume responsibility for leadership and guidance in daily activities with special attention to safety participation and interactions between children.
--Serve as a good role model in personal language appearance and communication skills.
--Assume responsibility for health/welfare of children entrusted to his/her charge
--Communicate verbally with campers individually each day
--Ensure inclusion of all campers in daily activities.
--Respond to any behavioral situations.
--Ensure that the after care room is kept clean organized and free of litter.
--Know and understand ALL emergency procedures.
--Know enforce and follow all safety guidelines associated with after care.

--Be physically able to accompany the children to any of the activities.
--Be able to communicate verbally with campers and provide instructions.
--Have visual ability to recognize hazards in the after care setting and the auditory ability to respond appropriately to those hazards.
--Follow all rules and guidelines.
--Submit all background checks clearances and trainings required by DHS and United Sports Youth Programs Department (this can happen after application/hire).

Those over 21 years of age with a valid drivers license may be eligibile for additional hours/increased pay if willing to drive an after care van.

Compensation: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

United Sports is a 127000 square-foot indoor 72-acre outdoor sports complex located directly off the Route 30 Bypass in the heart of Chester County PA. This privately-funded over $15 million project transformed a historic but long-neglected airport into a major center for recreation and field access. United Sports is located in Downingtown PA a suburb just southwest of a time of rapid urban development rather than building homes or additional corporate buildings United Sports designed a complex that encompasses 11 outdoor playing fields and 3 acres under roof with multiple playing surfaces for varying sport use.

United Sports provides an opportunity for your child to participate in sports in a safe environment. Without these additional fields and programs registrations for youth leagues would be limited due to a lack of field space. On a regular basis United Sports attracts participants and spectators from a 60-mile to 60-minute radius. Centrally located United Sports is convenient to people from nearby neighboring states (Maryland Delaware New Jersey).
