South Malling CE Primary and Nursery School is a friendly innovative and inclusive school committed to high standards in all aspects of school life.

We are looking to appoint an Afterschool Club Assistant supporting our term-time club open Monday - Thursday 3pm - 6pm offering family style care with a range of games and activities or offering quiet time after a busy day.

Required for Term 2 2025/26 school year

The position is for 15 hours - 4 afternoons a week Monday - Thursday 3 - 6pm and Friday 1 - 4pm.

The 3 hours on Friday afternoon will be spent on our front office providing a point of access for enquiries and to process administration for the Club.

You will benefit from any required training and development opportunities and will be fully supported through an Induction program and introduced to your role.

An Early Years Qualification level 3 is desirable but not essential.

Accordingly the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
