The Traineeship
We currently have an Individual Disability Support traineeship opportunity based in Cannonvale. You will have the chance to work with one of the largest disability service providers in Australia whilst completing a Certificate 3 Individual Support. The team you will be working with are very supportive and enthusiastic. They will be able to guide you and provide you with a wealth of knowledge along the way.
In this Traineeship you will learn how to provide support in our Learning & Lifestyle Centre; assisting activities designed to help the people we support to develop practical life skills and to identify their goals for daily living community participation learning and building relationships and of course most importantly having fun! Some of our activities include cooking arts and crafts connecting with nature and sports.
What will you bring to the role
Our team will help you develop during the traineeship but there are some minimum requirements and key traits were looking for:
- An aspiration to work in rewarding Disability Support Work
- An eye for detail with the ability to follow directions well
- A candidate who wants to learn and grow on the job!
- Blue Card and NDIS worker screening check is required
- Youll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tasks that can change from day to day as you increase your knowledge and learn new systems.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday business hours (min 15hrs per week)
- Provide two references
- Successful candidates will participate in a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
