Director Business Consulting – CGI Business Consulting, Southwestern Sweden

CGI Business Consulting in Southwestern Sweden is currently seeking a new Director Business Consulting to lead and grow one of our teams within Strategic IT. Our Business Consulting operations in Gothenburg and Malmö are part of our strategic focus on Management and Strategic IT Consulting and actively contribute to both national and global forums for offerings and business development.

As a Director Business Consulting (DBC) you will have the opportunity to grow in sales delivery and leadership in a dynamic role working with successful addition to being part of the Business Consulting leadership team you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 12 consultants.

You will play a key role in our continued growth journey leading your team while jointly expanding our management consulting business in Southwestern Sweden.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The role encompasses four main areas of responsibility:

- Client Engagement & Sales: Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support the growth of their business operations.
- Delivery Leadership: Lead and participate in client engagements.
- Team & People Development: Recruit and support the career development of your team members.
- Business Management: Lead and take responsibility for achieving set targets for revenue and profitability.

Your role will include ensuring that your team delivers business value by seamlessly integrating IT and management solutions. Together with your team and other CGI units you will proactively build and develop relationships with both new and existing clients with a particular focus on networking and sales at the CEO and CIO level.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience including at least 5 years as a management consultant.
- Expertise and experience in areas typically handled by CIOs such as IT strategy IT operating models IT cost optimization IT sourcing enterprise architecture technology advisory data strategy and ERP strategy.
- Established network of clients in Gothenburg and/or Malmö.
- Proven experience working with large organizations and delivering strong results in complex environments.
-Strong analytical skills and a quick effective problem solver.
-High level of drive self-motivation and a proactive business-oriented mindset.
-Fluent in both Swedish and English written and spoken.

Additional Information
This role includes travel. Background checks may be conducted if required for the position.
