Job Summary
The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Specialist is responsible for establishing monitoring and maintaining integration between Garretts internal enterprise application (SAP) and external suppliers and customers via a Cloud-based EDI solution hosted by a managed-services addition to providing world-class support to a globally diverse customer and trading partner base the employee will independently lead initiatives to establish new connectivity and integration with applications and trading partners using a variety of EDI standards. The specialist will also build foundational expertise in API-led integration and AI-driven automation by enabling real-time scalable and intelligent data flows with suppliers and customers.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
8-10 years in similar role
Advanced level of English
Strong knowledge and experience VDA and/or EDIFACT X12 standards (must).
Experience with Automotive or Aerospace industry standards and processes required.
3PP Process strong knowledge (must)
Knowledge on SFTP AS2 Public key and other types of connection attributes.
Project Management
Skills in SAP IDoc interfaces (preferred)
