About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for Project Officer role to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment flora fauna and Aboriginal heritage.
The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse project management and support services including preparation of reports and briefs coordinating resources maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high performing team to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
About You
As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams. Ideally you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar and have a passion for achieving outcomes in a changing and diverse work environment.
You are adept at problem solving enjoy handling diverse and complex data and are enthusiastic about learning and applying technological solutions.
Youll also be highly motivated and an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders both in person and through virtual networks. You thrive being a team player who is proactive and demonstrates initiative at every opportunity.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.
