System (Industrial) Engineer

Compensation: $120000 $140000/year
Our client is a leading manufacturer of additive machines specializing in metal 3D printing. They are seeking a System (Industrial) Engineer to join their growing team. This position has a key role in driving operational efficiency and process improvement across our manufacturing facility. This role supports the design implementation and optimization of systems and workflows on the manufacturing floor with a focus on safety quality and productivity. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve operational processes to enhance throughput reduce waste and optimize resources utilization.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for production and logistics issues.
- Support the deployment of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.
- Develop and maintain standard work process documentation and training materials.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in new equipment installations layout planning and capacity modeling. Connect and reconnect equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and quality standards.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial logistics or manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- Understand coding
- Proficiency in process mapping time studies and data analysis.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong communication documentation and project coordination skills.
