The Role

As Nexs DevOps Engineer you will own our cloud infrastructure CI/CD and ML training pipelines. You will be surrounded by many mission-driven and highly talented people and have a unique opportunity to solve problems in a variety of engineering areas including ML cloud platform software operating systems and games. You will tackle many scalability challenges expand our production and development infrastructure and help developers maximize their effectiveness as the company scales. You will apply a product-development mindset to build infrastructure and tools for testing development deployment and monitoring. You will spend most of your time understanding developers pain points adopting new technologies building reusable tools automating critical workflows and ensuring the smooth operation of our ever-expanding services and infrastructure. You stay at the cutting edge of DevOps and feel supported to improve how things are done at Nex.

What Youll Do

• Evolve and maintain our scalable fault-tolerant global cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP to support an ever-expanding fleet of connected devices and revenue-generating operations.
• Operationalize development and deployment workflows for ML models system firmware applications backend services and games.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement solutions that eliminate development pain points.
• Drive observability improvements across monitoring logging and alerting.
• Champion information security regulatory compliance architecture and site reliability best practices.
• Participate in incident response and postmortem analysis.

Must Have

• 3 years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• 2 years of experience with serverless architectures.
• 2 years of experience building fault-tolerant scalable systems.
• 1 years of experience in software product companies/startups.
• Deep knowledge of AWS GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform Ansible Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases message brokers containerization orchestration REST APIs HTTP and networking.
• Proficiency with scripting languages command-line tools and Git.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to work flexibly with global teams across time zones.
