As Assistant Buyer you play an active role in exciting product development from concept to creation while keeping our buying process strong and efficient. Your contribution helps launch innovative products and keeps our supply chain running smoothly.

Within IBG Netherlands Orchard and Fasten specialise in turnkey solutions private label and packaging in the Beauty and Home Care industry. Together we are concept builders with global opportunities for well-known retailers and brands from your favorite shopping street. There is a good chance that one of our products is already in your home!

What will you do

In this hands-on collaborative role youll bring product concepts to life and deliver innovation together with your buying team:

Provide complete & accurate information about offers prices quality claims samples and payment terms. On time every time;

Manage and update the sample database for our new and existing product developments;
Work closely with suppliers to navigate the journey from product idea to shelf smoothly and transparently.
Follow all valid buying & sourcing processes and procedures;
Liaise with suppliers for a smooth workflow and clear communication.

Job requirements

Your profile:

You are a real team player and a natural multitasker thriving in an international environment. Your passion for innovative products and your enthusiasm for both buying and product development make you an asset to our team.

You also have:

Bachelors degree (preferably in commercial economics business or international trade);
At least 2 years experience in a similar cross-cultural role;
Fluent English plus French German or Spanish earns you extra kudos;
Strong communicator who connects easily and gets things done;
Fast with MS Office especially Excel;
You love putting order in the chaos and keep tasks running smoothly.
