Job Summary
At Amazon were evolving on how sellers connect with millions of customers worldwide through our Marketplace platform. With over 2 million active sellers globally we recognize that successful product listings are crucial to both seller success and customer satisfaction. However weve identified that creating detailed accurate product listings remains a significant challenge for many sellers. Thats where our Grocery Catalog Operations & Intelligence (GCOI) team steps in. Were transforming the seller experience by taking on the complex task of building product creation files ourselves eliminating a major friction point in the listing process. Our team combines operational excellence with data-driven intelligence to streamline the entire catalog management process.
Through advanced analytics and business intelligence we deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across US Grocery operations.
Key job responsibilities
Technical Expertise
Data & Analytics Proficiency
oDemonstrate ability to independently develop and optimize basic SQL queries for catalog management
oProven capability to extract analyze and interpret data to drive catalog improvements
ocreating clear visualizations that communicate findings to stakeholders
Generative AI Application
oDemonstrate success in leveraging Gen AI tools to enhance catalog operations
oExperience building at least one solution that utilizes Gen AI to automate routine catalog tasks and Improve data accuracy
oLeverage Gen AI to develop or improve SOPs for catalog operations and help with training content
3. Operational Excellence
Process Improvement/automation
oSuccessful development or optimization of at least one SOP
oImplementation of at least one automation improvements that reduce manual effort/improve data accuracy
Exception handling and Deep Dive capabilities
oDemonstrate ability to systematically investigate and resolve complex catalog issues
oExperience conducting thorough root cause analysis with clear documentation
4. Collaboration & Knowledge sharing
oAbility to effectively communicate with business partners and coordinate with stakeholders across teams
oExperience gathering requirements and delivering solutions that meet stakeholder needs
oRegular contribution to team knowledge base and documentation

GCOI team drives operational excellence through continuous innovation and defect elimination delivering seamless and reliable experiences for customers and stakeholders. Our commitment centers on maximizing resource efficiency while eliminating operational waste leveraging data-driven metrics to enhance performance and providing strategic support across Catalog programs. Through our BI capabilities we deliver actionable insights that power informed decision-making across US Grocery operations.
- Bachelors degree
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
