Your Purpose

As a Warehouse Associate you will convey a positive impression of Poppy Barley to our customers by executing operational strategies resulting in positive operating profits and exceptional customer experience. You will have an immediate and direct impact on the success of Poppy Barley through inventory flow management and demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand.

Your Responsibilities

Using your attention to detail in delivering exceptional service to customers
Supporting e-commerce and in-store channels through shipping and order fulfilment
Receiving and shipping custom orders coming from our factory in Mexico
Overseeing receiving of new products and organizing the Warehouse
Unpacking boxes from shipments received as required and maintaining stockroom organization standards.
Verifying replenishment shipments into inventory in addition to larger seasonal collection shipments
Supporting replenishment to stores weekly.
Processing and fulfilment of e-commerce returns.
Supporting inventory counts as needed.

Everything Else

All hands on deck: this is a collaborative roll-up-your-sleeves kind of team and were looking for someone whos ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
Some evening or weekend work may be required to support events activations or key business moments.

Key Performance Indicators

Ensuring our fulfillment and replenishment accuracy goals are met so that the right products are sent to customers and stores.
Keeping inventory adjustments to a minimum
Performing all warehouse tasks in a timely manner to deliver exceptional customer service
Maintaining an organized warehouse area so that all operations can happen efficiently.
Adhesion and execution of all Company policies procedures and practices including signing pricing and loss prevention.

Your Background and Strengths

High school diploma and fluent in English
Detail-oriented with a natural desire to function in an organized environment.
Experience in a warehouse or retail environment considered an asset
Proficient in data entry and able to learn basic software applications.

Other Details:

Flexible availability Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position for 10-20 hours/week.
Must for sure be available to work Tuesdays and Thursday or Friday.
Chosen candidates must be able to unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh up to 45 lbs).
