How Youll Make an Impact
- Reporting to the Supervisor Recruitment youll be responsible for seeing recruitment activities through from beginning to end and work with the hiring manager to successfully attract quality applicants by:
- Creating engaging job ads that are tailored to the top talent your searching for
- Posting ads to relevant/strategic job sites
- Sourcing resumes through various channels
- Constructing purposeful interview guides
- Participate in interviews directly with project and hiring managers
- Leverage social media as a key strategic recruitment tool
- Act as a consultant to hiring managers on labour market trends and best practices
- Participate and lead strategic recruitment initiatives
- Source for top talent using database searching job postings/searching social mediaand industry networking for a variety of niche positions.
- Proactively create and maintain a current and up to date candidate pipeline.
- Promote AMA highlighting the many perks of working here including being able to speak to AMAs total rewards.
- Liaise with the Supervisor Recruitment to support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and candidate marketing programs.
- Staying current on new and innovative recruitment methods and technology.
- Lead recruitment initiatives from research to implementation.
- Review interview guides to ensure the questions fit with AMAs culture.
- Be a specialist and reference point for our Applicant Tracking System.
- Help create and build recruitment tools for AMA Hiring Managers ensuring consistency in the recruitment process.
What You Bring to the Table
- You have a post-secondary diploma degree or certificate in HR or Business. If your education is in something else tell us how it will benefit you in this role.
- You have at 2-5 years under your belt managing the full recruitment cycle.
- If you have at least 3 years of experience in recruiting hard to fill technical roles that would be a bonus.
- Youre very familiar with Workday Recruiting or a comparable Applicant Tracking System.
- A high degree of personal computing skills across a variety of software applications and other digital tools which support talent acquisition activities.
- You are a visionary and strategic thinker.
- You have or are working towards an RPR designation.
