The Corporate IT Cell is a shared service that provides technology support to the group companies.
The cell works as a business partner for our businesses and functions to provide proactive technology solutions in meeting the business strategy. The team has an impressive track record of having handled SAP implementations International network connectivity Integrated DC and DR implementations etc. It has also formed Group policies / guidelines on key issues like Infrastructure Security etc.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Windows Server environments including installation configuration patching and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain the Wintel infrastructure ensuring high availability security and performance.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) for efficient resource utilization and system performance.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory on prem and Azure AD DNS DHCP and Group Policies to ensure seamless authentication and access management.
- Monitor system health analyze logs and proactively address performance or security issues.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for business continuity.
- Oversee IT asset management including tracking hardware/software inventory managing Microsoft licenses and ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.
- Drive execution resolving escalations and ensuring SLA adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system automation optimization and security best practices.
- Maintain documentation SOPs and compliance reports in alignment with IT policies and industry standards.
Who are we looking for
Education: B. Sc/ Diploma or similar.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience.
- Professional Certification (preferred).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (e.g. MCSA MCSE or Azure Administrator Associate). VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Hyper-V certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification (for understanding IT service management best practices).
Skills:
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere Hyper-V)
- Proficiency in Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy management. Self-driven and proactive.
- Knowledge of backup solutions disaster recovery planning and ITIL processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle escalations efficiently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
