Applications Manager / Senior Applications Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of machine tools.

Applications Manager / Senior Applications Engineer responsibilities

Oversee the applications team managing projects schedules and resources to ensure technical initiatives are completed on time.
Develop and write machine programs and optimize manufacturing processes including tooling fixturing and workflow to improve efficiency and product quality.
Provide hands-on technical support and programming expertise to clients and partners solving complex production challenges.
Design and deliver training sessions that teach programming techniques advanced manufacturing practices and product knowledge to internal teams and customers.
Collaborate with sales teams to evaluate customer needs develop customized machine programs and turnkey solutions and support business growth.

Applications Manager / Senior Applications Engineer requirements

Prior experience with both G code and M code.
Proficient using CAD/CAM software ideally SolidWorks Autodesk or AutoCAD (CAD) and Siemens NX or Mastercam (CAM).
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
Extensive experience working in the machine tool industry.
Prior experience using Siemens controls.
