About You

  • Passionate about hospitality guest experience and operational excellence
  • Previous experience in Reservations or Front Office within a luxury or premium hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel systems such as Opera PMS MARSHA or similar
  • Excellent leadership training and communication skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Skilled in multitasking and managing time effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of group bookings rate management and billing processes
  • A collaborative team player who leads with professionalism and empathy
  • Full working rights in Australia

About the Role

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Reservations team across multiple properties ensuring accuracy in all reservations room blocks and group codes
  • Process all reservation requests changes and cancellations received by phone email or system ensuring prompt and professional responses
  • Verify room availability and rates applying appropriate sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Review and implement new reservations procedures and ensure compliance with Marriott policies and brand standards
  • Supervise and support team members providing ongoing coaching feedback and performance development
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests resolving challenges efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience
  • Ensure billing accounts are properly set up in accordance with accounting policies
  • Communicate with Sales Revenue and Front Office teams to coordinate group bookings and ensure a seamless guest journey
  • Maintain accuracy in systems and reports ensuring alignment between MARSHA PMS and group data
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated guest or system issues providing effective solutions or escalation as needed
  • Support management in scheduling training and motivating team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Uphold confidentiality professionalism and adherence to brand standards in every interaction
