As we expand our services across Southeast Queensland were seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. This is more than a jobits an opportunity to make a real and lasting impact in Southeast Queensland community. As a Support Worker youll provide in-home assistance and meaningful support that allows our clients to live safely comfortably and independently. Youll be a trusted presence and vital connection in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care (showering grooming dressing) while promoting independence
Assist with mobility and transfers ensuring safety and comfort
Support with meal preparation and mealtime assistance
Perform light household tasks including cleaning and laundry
Collaborate with clients and carers to identify and engage in meaningful activities
Facilitate community access and participation in local events or interest groups
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Deliver high-quality consumer-focused care aligned with QAADS values and policies
Apply a Wellness and Reablement approach to support and build client independence
Coordinate client care within approved home care programs using a person-centred approach
What Youll Bring
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)
Proven experience supporting people with empathy patience and respect
Strong understanding of compliance and safety within the community care sector (Aged Care Act WHS Anti-Discrimination etc.)
Excellent time management and adaptability in a client-focused environment
Basic digital literacy (or willingness to learn to use smartphones/tablets)
Additional Requirements
Valid Queensland drivers licence
Current (or willingness to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Two professional references (including current or most recent manager)
Australian work rights (required)
Ability to commute to Mount Gravatt QLD
