How Youll Make an Impact

Lead supplier assessments evaluations and audits to ensure on-time delivery and outgoing quality.
Drive supplier qualification and maintain a robust ethical and sustainable supplier base.
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute part and process qualifications.
Address supply disruptions and manage claims when supplier root causes are identified.
Resolve supplier quality issues and lead improvement initiatives through direct engagement.
Monitor and report on supplier performance KPIs and quality trends.
Lead or support supplier performance evaluations and share transparent feedback.
Contribute to strategic quality initiatives and support special projects.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

Bachelors degree in engineering quality or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in supplier quality procurement manufacturing or quality engineering.
Strong knowledge of quality systems/tools (ISO standards PPAP FMEA CAPA etc.) and SAP/4HANA (Module QM).
Excellent communication problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with 8D methodology improvement projects and lean/6S/statistical process control.
Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
