About the role:
We are hiring within our Restructuring & Insolvency (R&I) Team this is a fast-growing business unit providing advisory and executory restructuring services to a range of clients and stakeholders including corporates banks funds sponsors and many more.

Being part of the R&I team provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across both advisory and executory restructuring service offerings:
Corporate restructuring advisory: we provide hands-on support to our corporate clients helping them to consider and develop solutions for navigating through challenges facing their business. These projects include working with them as they develop their business plans performing independent business reviews (IBRs) strategic reviews options analysis cash flow management and much more.
Executory restructuring: we advise on restructuring solutions and how insolvency processes can be used to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders. Our work includes all aspects of pre-insolvency advice and options assessment contingency planning or executing administration liquidations and other rescue mechanisms.
What your days will look like:
Reviewing financial and operational performance identifying key issues for clients and stakeholders.
Supporting senior team members in advising corporates lenders sponsors and funds on restructuring and turnaround options.
Conducting cash flow and financial modelling assessing everything from short-term requirements to long-term viability and contingency planning.
Preparing reports and presentations for boards lenders investors and other stakeholders.
Assisting Insolvency Practitioners with formal appointments (e.g. administrations liquidations CVAs restructuring plans) including managing trading businesses during insolvency.
Using technology and digital tools to deliver analysis efficiently and explore innovative solutions.
Attending industry-wide restructuring events to develop technical knowledge or expand your professional network including formal restructuring-focused training courses and seminars whether delivered internally or externally
This role is for you if you:
Are enthusiastic and proactive with an interest in helping companies navigate through difficult circumstances
Have a CA/ACA/ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience
Have sound financial analytical skills including use of Microsoft Excel.
Have commercial awareness in restructuring and / or insolvency situations plus a genuine interest in how businesses work.
Stay current with digital tools including GenAI that can assist in solving client problems and discovering new work opportunities.
Have an enthusiasm for and genuine commitment to business development and supporting marketing initiatives.
Have a commitment to continued personal development and helping to develop those in your team.
