Senior Business Consultant Strategy & Change

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Torontoand/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
As a Senior Business Consultant focusing will be a core partner of the Business Consulting practice in our Toronto Financial Services division. We help our clients at various stages of their digital and organizational transformation journeys so this role will have the opportunity to help shape strategic direction business goals and overcome various operational challenges. This includes facilitating strategic alignment workshops developing market insights assessing transformation maturity developing future state solutions and leading engagements to overcome cultural and organizational barriers.
The Business Consulting practice partners with clients to help them realize their full potential by unleashing the power of people and technology leveraging industry leading tools and techniques that will contribute toward accelerating their transformation journey.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Lead and deliver large client engagements that drive digital and organizational transformation process optimization and change management
-Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams in the areas of business operations and technology from strategy development to execution
. Present deliverables to senior leaders and executives that bridge the gap between technology and business
. Lead creative innovation and strategic alignment workshops to help clients identify key priorities and shape strategic initiatives
. Co-create transformation strategies with clients based on assessment of current state (across technology organization & people business model) and desired future state
. Develop specific frameworks including business model & organizational design operating model development cost benefit analysis and mobilization roadmaps that accelerate transformation
. Seamlessly transition between business and technology groups when working with clients to ideate customer solutions design services and work to implement action items
. Develop strong client relationships and anticipate wants/needs based on in depth knowledge of the clients businesses and articulate strategic point of views

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 3 -5 years of previous consulting agency or other professional experience preferably within the Financial Services industry
. Experience working in or with larger enterprise-level organizations leading transformation projects
. Demonstrated professional experience in business strategy development qualitative research & discovery process optimization project management and change management
Experience with workshop and meeting facilitation particularly with senior executive level participants
. Technical knowledge to be able to speak intelligently to key individuals in both the business and technology sides of an organization
. Strong practical knowledge of strategic frameworks and methodologies such as design thinking business model design financial analysis go-to-market strategies
. Excellent presentation and writing skills with ability to tell a meaningful story
. Enthusiasm for problem solving innovation and human-centered design
Required Level of Education (include certifications):
. Degree or equivalent professional experience
