JOB SUMMARY
The IT Service Desk Clerk provides essential administrative and operational support to the IT department ensuring smooth workflows and accurate record-keeping. This role focuses on supporting procurement inventory management licensing documentation and general office processes. The Clerk works closely with the IT Services & Helpdesk Coordinator and Technical Analysts to facilitate service delivery and maintain high standards of organizational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be/have:
- High school diploma; diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative clerical or customer service role.
- Familiarity with IT operations inventory and procurement processes is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Flexibility to support outside regular business hours in exceptional scenarios.
