As a Doorways Case Worker youll walk alongside people doing it tough helping them build the skills and resilience to create real lasting change.

The Salvation Army (Salvos) Doorways model of care provides holistic financial support to individuals and families seeking short-term financial assistance and ongoing financial management support services. The Doorways Team provide person-centred trauma-informed care facilitate short-term financial assistance and walk side-by-side with participants as they build the skills and knowledge to break the cycle of poverty.
About the role:
Reporting to the Doorways Regional Manager (DRM) the Doorways Case Worker is responsible for providing case work support to community members who request material assistance and to those who would benefit from more specialized assistance.
You will provide support guidance and encouragement within a case work setting to community members who are wanting to make positive changes in their life. You will have the ability to explore with community members the deeper issues that have been contributing to their presenting situation with a view to building longer term capacity and resilience.
