Your New Role and Responsibilities

This opportunity is for students currently studying an IT related diploma or certification.

To achieve this we combine cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure technologies with strong engineering practices. Customer requirements typically dictate the need for highly complex and bespoke IT solutions which means we value engineers who are adaptable resourceful and eager to learn.

As a Cadet Platform Engineer your week could involve:

  • Design & Build Assisting in the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure platforms using cloud services automation tools and modern DevOps practices.
  • Automation & Scripting Developing scripts and infrastructure-as-code to provision configure and manage systems efficiently and reliably.
  • Platform Operations Helping to monitor maintain and optimise infrastructure to ensure availability performance and security.
  • Deployment & Delivery Supporting the creation of CI/CD pipelines building releases and enabling smooth delivery of applications and services.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Writing clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration.
  • Collaboration Working closely with architects engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities.
  • Ownership Taking responsibility for specific platform components ensuring they meet project and customer requirements.

This role is ideal for students who are passionate about cloud technologies infrastructure automation and building platforms that solve complex real-world problems.

  • Currently studying IT related Diploma or Certification.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and bewilling to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
