Optiver is seeking a Trade Supervisor to join our dynamic trading floor in this high-impact role youll be the first responder to incidents taking ownership from investigation to resolution. Success in this role requires having a decisive nature strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
WHAT YOULL DO:
As a Trade Supervisor you will be responsible for identifying managing and resolving live trading incidents across multiple globally oriented automated trading strategies. Youll ensure incidents are handled quickly and effectively keeping relevant stakeholders informed and implementing preventative measures to ensure the issues do not reoccur.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and monitoring automated trading systems in the various markets we trade in.
Assessing live trading for any issues (e.g. risk compliance production issues) and quickly responding to unusual behaviours or market conditions.
Working closely with risk managers and trading teams to alert key staff of any intraday trading issues and collaborating with Optivers engineers brokers and exchanges to resolve problems in real time.
Documenting procedures and logging production issues as they occur.

WHO YOU ARE:
At least 5 years experience in a Trade Supervision Trading Risk Application Engineering or similar role.
Prior trading exposure across asset classes and strategies is highly desirable.
Comfortable working in night shifts on a rotational basis.
An understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures.
Extremely organised detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Excellent communication project management and time management skills.
Solid experience with high-frequency automated trading strategies will be preferred.
Experience with Python Linux command line and the ability to extract and manipulate large data sets will be preferred.
