Software Development Engineer in Test (Bothell WA)Job Description
As a key member of the software development team you will design influence and implement test frameworks in support of new ultrasound feature designs and implementations.
Your role:
- Own software feature test strategy tonsure successful development and quality of software components process deliverables and test requirements
- Individual software development; knowledge of object-oriented C# or similar language
- Leadership and mentoring aspects for test monitor time-sensitive test results to ensure timely accurate reporting to relevant stakeholders
Youre the right fit if:
- Youve acquired 2 years of experience in software development experience with a focus on software development for test
- Your skills include knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (C# JAVA) design and coding; Technical experience with MySQL Perl PowerShell Python and REST APIs and Agile software development would be a plus
- You have a BS in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You have a proven ability to analyze functional non-functional and technical requirements to define testing scope effectively; knowledge of software development lifecycle; strong individual technical leadership skills through strategy definition and mentorship
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Bothell WA is $118000 to $138000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.
In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
