Sales Development Representative
Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in our sales team by identifying potential clients and nurturing leads through the sales funnel. As a key point of contact for prospective customers the SDR is responsible for facilitating the first steps in the sales process and contributing significantly to the growth of our company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential leads through various channels including social media industry events and networking.
- Engage with prospects via phone email and social media platforms to introduce our products and services.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our target market.
- Schedule product demos and meetings for senior sales representatives with interested prospects.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and prospect information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to strategize on lead generation and follow-up techniques.
- Provide feedback on market trends and competitors to assist in the refinement of sales strategies.
- Achieve or exceed monthly lead generation and sales targets.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance overall performance and product knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business marketing or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Desired Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales marketing or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with lead generation techniques and sales processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve goals under pressure.
