Job Summary

Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR ### REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years experience minimum Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: IV Start Telemetry Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Certs: BCLS and NIH PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Certs: ACLS JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:5/6 Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 *36 or 48 Hours can be offered. If accepting 48 hours NO OT until after 48 hours are billed. Will accept 13-week contracts. ***RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER*** Float Requirement: Floating is required as needed to other Med/Surg units. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. **Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient with the exception of pregnant team members. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified hip and knee certified colorectal cancer certified ERAS general surgical patients occasional GYN surgeries hospice cardiac services pre and post cath tele neurology oncology. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules UNIT ORIENTATION: 2 12-hour shifts. Hospital Orientation week one: traveler must be available for classes each day. SCRUBS: Any combination of navy and white. *** INTERNAL NOTES *** Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
