Job Summary

Responsibilities
Collaborate: Work closely with product managers engineers to understand requirements
technical specifications and deliver quality software.
Explain designs to teammates to for alignment and approval
Ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable highly resilient cloud-native
architecture
Development: Design and implement large datasets and complex data pipelines using
technologies like Python Java Databricks Hive and Spark
Participate in design reviews with peers to provide feedback
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best
practices
Database Management: Develop databases ensuring efficient data storage
and retrieval.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests integration tests and maintain high
code quality standards using tools such as Jest Mocha or similar.
Performance Optimization: Identify and fix performance bottlenecks across the full
stack ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate with and maintain continuous integration/continuous
deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless software delivery.
Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning daily
stand-ups code reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on
product/program updates and user feedback.
Eligibility
A 0-2 years software development experience in data engineering with experience in Python or
Java Databricks Hive Spark EMR and SQL
Demonstrated strength in data modelling ETL development and data streaming
Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
Familiarity with the challenge of moving large files across a geographically disperse network.
Knowledge of different accelerated transfer methods and technologies
Experience in microservices architecture domain driven design and RESTful APIs
Experience using cloud services to build an integrated application (AWS - EC2 ECS API gateway
Lambda DynamoDB Kafka).
Experience with implementing CI/CD and leading teams with DevOps responsibilities of deploying
and supporting the software in production
