Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Analyst to support our procurement and sourcing this role you will assist in collecting and analyzing purchasing data preparing supplier evaluations supporting RFQ/RFP processes and maintaining procurement records. You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure data accuracy vendor compliance and timely is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to grow in the field of supply chain and procurement analytics.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze procurement data to identify trends cost-saving opportunities and process inefficiencies.
Develop and maintain dashboards reports and KPIs to support strategic purchasing decisions.

Spend Analysis

Track and analyze company spend across categories and suppliers.
Identify areas of high expenditure and opportunities for consolidation or negotiation.

Supplier Performance Evaluation

Monitor and evaluate vendor performance based on quality cost delivery and compliance.
Provide data-driven recommendations for vendor selection renewal or replacement.

Market Research

Conduct research on market trends pricing benchmarks and new suppliers.
Support sourcing strategies based on market insights and business needs.

RFQ & RFP Support

Assist in preparing and evaluating Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Analyze quotation data and support decision-making for supplier selection.

Cost Optimization

Support procurement team in identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
Analyze price variances and suggest improvements to purchasing strategies.

Contract and Compliance Monitoring

Track key contract terms renewal dates and compliance requirements.
Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies and legal standards.

Process Improvement

Recommend and support implementation of process improvements in procurement workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sourcing efficiency.

Tool and System Management

Work with procurement software/tools (e.g. ERP Excel Power BI) for data analysis and reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and databases.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Liaise with internal departments such as finance operations and legal to align procurement goals.
Support procurement leadership with data insights and strategic input.

Skills required:

Ability to analyze procurement data to identify trends cost-saving opportunities and performance gaps.
Skilled in using Excel functions like pivot tables VLOOKUP and formulas to manage and visualize procurement data.
Strong understanding of sourcing vendor evaluation RFQs/RFPs and contract management.
Effective in collaborating with vendors and internal teams and presenting insights clearly to support decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in any of the following fields:

Business Administration / Commerce / Supply Chain Management / Economics / Engineering (for technical procurement roles) /Finance or Accounting (preferred for data - focused roles).
