We are Hiring a Director of Nursing to lead a Nursing care home in Kildare Ireland.
Responsibilities
Oversee overall operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Maintain high-quality nursing and clinical standards; ensure best practices in resident care
Promote residents wellbeing through social engagement and person-centered activities
Manage admissions discharges and bed occupancy efficiently
Foster open communication and strong relationships with residents families
Lead mentor and support nursing and care staff; oversee recruitment training and performance management
Manage budgets resources and administrative operations effectively
Ensure a safe clean and comfortable environment for residents staff and visitors
Requirements
A Registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
Evidence of continuous professional development
A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field
Not less than 3 years experience of nursing older persons within the previous 6 years
Not less than 3 years experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area
Ability to communicate effectively with residents family members team members management and external bodies (e.g. HIQA HSE GPs etc.)
Post-registration qualification in dementia care and gerontology is highly desirable
