About the Role

Our client a recognised leader in building infrastructure and development is offering a placement for a Civil Engineer Intern or Graduate Engineer. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals looking to understand both the technical and commercial aspects of construction engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with structural design materials testing and documentation for building projects.
Conduct on-site measurements inspections and quality checks.
Prepare and review project drawings and models in AutoCAD or Revit.
Support project managers with budgeting scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
Promote compliance with OH&S and environmental standards.

Requirements

Degree (or near completion) in Civil / Structural Engineering.

Knowledge of concrete and steel design fundamentals.

Excellent problem-solving and numerical analysis skills.

Proactive detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Required Skills:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline). 01 year of experience in civil engineering construction or an internship environment. Strong understanding of engineering principles construction practices and design fundamentals. Familiarity with CAD software project management and design tools. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Passionate about learning professional growth and contributing to high-quality infrastructure outcomes.
